Testimonial - Pete Ambrose - Garden Farms, California

Southern Pacific Daylight on the Metz River Crossing Tressle Bridge, 1955
"I'm a model railroad builder and one of my many projects was scratch building a model of the Metz River Crossing Tressle Bridge, San Ardo, California.

The model is 8 ft. long, with over 3,000 individual pieces. Once built, it was my dream to have a painting of the 'bygone days" of the Southern Pacific Daylight crossing the bridge hanging on my livingroom wall. Thanks to Mary's hours of dedication to the project, now it is!"

Southern Pacific Railroad Station (1990), Paso Robles, California
  More from Pete Ambrose ......

"There was talk that the local Paso Robles S.P. Railroad Station was to be torn down. I felt the memory of its history and grandeur needed to be preserved. Thanks to Turnbull's time and creative spirit, the essence is."
Testimonial - Joseph and Janet Janowicz - Santa Margarita, California

Chumash Indian Pictographs from San Luis Obispo and Kern Counties, California
"Janet and I built our "dream" log home in 1999. We love the rustic wood look and being fans of Native American art, have decorated our home in that motif.

We could envision a mural on the rough plastered wall in the loft, and since we already owned a couple of Mary Turnbull originals, asked her to come up with some ideas. She agreed and after lengthy conversations on our interests, Mary researched the history of the local Chumash Indian pictoraphs and presented us with two small watercolor renderings to choose from. We chose one and the result is the gorgeous finished product you see in the photo.

Both Janet and I are thrilled with the end result and would highly recommend Mary for any artistic endeavor you may want. Mary Turnbull's attention to detail and eye for color is fantastic.

We LOVE our mural!"
